The Alabama Water Resources Conference is a forum offering conversation and insight into the multidisciplinary aspects of water resources that are important to the state, region and nation. Organized by the center in collaboration with the Alabama Section of the American Water Resources Association and a multi-agency planning committee, the conference maintains a reputation as one of the most impactful water resource forums in the Southeast. The conference is for all participants of the water resources community.
Concurrent oral sessions offer opportunities to engage in water-related issues such as aquatic ecology, agriculture and irrigation, coastal issues, drought and climate, GIS, groundwater, modeling and water management, recreation, restoration, stormwater, wastewater systems management, water law and policy, water monitoring, and more.
