Architecture faculty members Mary English and Xavier Vendrell have been named co-winners of the international category in the 56th annual FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design.
English and Vendrell were recognized for their design of “Susan’s House,” a unique home comprised of four linked volumes separated by “rooms without roofs.” The house was built in the historic neighborhood of Lavaca in San Antonio, Texas.
