Aubie figure gives beloved mascot a permanent home on campus

Auburn University Student Affairs will unveil a figure celebrating Aubie the Tiger at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24. The bronze figure will be situated at the front entrance of the Harold D. Melton Student Center, cementing Aubie’s place as one of Auburn’s most beloved traditions. The ceremony comes a few weeks after Aubie claimed his 11th UCA National Championship title and a few days before his 45th birthday on Feb. 28. The event will be livestreamed and can be viewed at aub.ie/AubieUnveiling.
