2024 Alumni Professorship nominations now open

Faculty nominations are now open for the 2024 Alumni Professorships. Created with an endowment from the Alumni Association, the professorships honor five tenured faculty each year for their contributions to Auburn’s land-grant mission and whose teaching, research and extension efforts positively impact the university. Nominees must be tenured faculty members in the year of their nomination, with direct responsibilities in at least two of the institution’s mission areas and have demonstrated meritorious performance, distinctive competence and potential for continued high productivity and excellence. New Alumni Professors will be recognized at the Annual Endowed Faculty Recognition Ceremony, hosted each fall by the Provost’s Office.
