Auburn University’s Parking Services recently became one of 43 organizations to be approved as an Accredited Parking Organization (APO) by the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI). Auburn’s accreditation will be valid through Dec. 31, 2027.

As part of the accreditation process, Auburn’s Parking Services demonstrated its commitment to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of program outcomes by going above and beyond industry standards.

The three-year APO designation is given to parking, transportation and mobility organizations that have achieved a comprehensive standard of excellence. The accreditation recognizes best practices in responsible parking management and operations, access management, customer service, professional development, security, sustainability and multiple other areas.

“Becoming an accredited parking organization earns Auburn University Parking Services industry-wide recognition and greater credibility while helping ensure that we are creating a positive parking experience for those visiting our campus,” Director of Parking Services Arishna Lastinger said.

Parking Services will be recognized on-stage at the 2024 IPMI Parking & Mobility Conference & Expo, which will be held in Columbus, Ohio, June 9-12, 2024.
