Employees of the Year lauded for excellence, commitment to Auburn

Four exceptional individuals were honored as Employees of the Year during last week’s Employee Recognition Program.

The winners, chosen from a group of over 40 Spirit of Excellence honorees, were recognized for their contributions to Auburn and their commitment to excellence. They include:

• Kaylen Anderson, Harrison School of Pharmacy, Office Administration
• Brooke Bailey, Office of Communications and Marketing, Admin/Professional
• Thomas Billingsley, School of Fisheries, Service and Maintenance
• Caroline Whiting, Biosystems Engineering, Technical/Paraprofessional

Each winner received a $3,000 check, primarily sponsored by the AU Foundation.

Over 500 employees, including the Employees of the Year and Spirit of Excellence recipients, were honored at the program, which was held at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The program celebrated various achievements, such as service milestones, employee graduations from Auburn and completions of the Supervisor Pathways Trailblazer program.

The program was one of several Employee Appreciation Week events that occurred last week. Additional details will be published on the Employee Appreciation Week website.
