Auburn University Risk Management and Safety has launched updated driver training, 12-and-15-person passenger van training and non-conventional vehicle (golf cart) training.
The Driver Qualification Policy outlines specific requirements for all qualified drivers who use automobiles on university business and also applies to the operation of non-conventional vehicles (golf carts) and 12-and-15-person passenger vans.
Employees will receive notices from ElevatED, Auburn’s Employee Education Center, to complete CR513E Auburn University Driver Training, which all Auburn University employees must complete. New hires will take the training as part of their onboarding activities.
Once the initial training is completed, users who operate non-conventional vehicles (such as golf carts and UTVs) and 12-and-15-person passenger vans must complete those specific training modules.
