The Harrison College of Pharmacy graduate program's Health Outcomes Research and Policy option recently received the 2024 Program Achievement Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Graduate Education Special Interest Group. This is the first year the award has been given out by the group.

Programs were evaluated based on compelling vision, strong leadership, shared governance and collegiality among faculty, staff and students; excellence and innovation in instruction, student mentorship, pedagogy and curriculum development; successful student placement with employers, internships, fellowships or other opportunities; pursuit of scholarship, intellectual curiosity and the exchange of ideas through publication, conference participation and other means; promotion of diversity, intercultural understanding and participation of underrepresented groups; and engagement with local to global communities.
