Two students are standing beside a 3-D printer in the Makerspace in RBD Library

Have you ever wondered if 3D printers, electronics or podcasts could be part of your class? Are you looking for innovative assignments to promote student engagement? If so, register for this learning community! We will begin with a tour of the Innovation and Research Commons, where you can learn about available technologies for creation and innovation. Over six sessions, we will explore frameworks for maker, information and digital literacy; craft a maker-focused assignment; and learn to use reflective writing to help students recognize transferable skills. We will cap it all off with a showcase of innovative assignments and prototypes. Don't miss this chance to transform your teaching and inspire creativity in your students!

Presented by AU Libraries and University Writing, this learning community will meet on Fridays at 10 a.m. from Sept. 6 through Oct. 18 (excluding Fall Break) in the University Writing Studio. Please complete this survey to register. If you have any questions, please email universitywriting@auburn.edu
