AU Libraries offers information literacy and research assistance workshops

With the beginning of fall semester upon us, Auburn University Libraries would like to encourage instructors to request librarian-led information literacy and research assistance workshops early.

Interested instructors should contact their departmental librarian or fill out an instruction request form.

Incorporating librarian-led research workshops in the classroom can promote essential information literacy and critical thinking skills and concepts our students need both for research assignments, and to be lifelong creators, consumers, and users of information.  

Sessions can be taught in person or via Zoom, asynchronous or synchronous. They can be tailored to fit specific curriculum needs or can be structured as a brief pop-in for questions and answers with a librarian.
