The deadline to submit nominations for the 2024 Faculty Awards is Sept. 20 at 4:45 p.m. Presented annually, the awards recognize faculty members who exemplify excellence in the areas of teaching, research, service and leadership, significantly advancing Auburn University and the broader academic community. This year’s awards include:
Teaching
- The Gerald and Emily Leischuck Endowed Presidential Awards for Excellence in Teaching (recognizes up to two faculty members)
- Distinguished Graduate Faculty Lectureship (recognizes one faculty member)
- The Alumni Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Awards (recognizes up to three faculty members)
Research
- The Emerging Faculty Creative Research and Scholarship Awards (recognizes two faculty members)
- The Creative Research and Scholarship Awards (recognizes two faculty members)
- The Provost Award for Faculty Excellence in Research Mentoring (recognizes one faculty member)
Service
- The Auburn University Award for Excellence in Faculty Outreach (recognizes one faculty member)
- The President’s Outstanding Collaborative Units Award (recognizes collaborations among two or more areas)
Leadership
- The President's Awards for Distinguished Faculty Leadership (recognizes up to two faculty members)
Detailed information about each award, including nomination criteria and submission forms, is available on the Faculty Awards website. Nominations close at 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 20. Recipients will be recognized at the 2024 Faculty Awards Ceremony in November.
