Following the 2023 launch of the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan, or QEP, the Office of Academic Insight has released the program’s latest Impact Report, now accessible to the campus community.
AUBURNACHIEVE, the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan, or QEP, is designed to enhance career outcomes for graduating students. A critical component of the university’s reaffirmation process by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the five-year, university-wide plan aims to improve student success. Aligning with the university’s strategic goal of providing exceptional student experiences through high-quality, comprehensive programming, AUBURNACHIEVE helps connect students with successful first destinations that lead to lifelong career outcomes.
The report details the unit’s efforts to advance post-graduation success through initiatives created by the Bright Idea seed grant program. Facilitated by members of the Insight Lab, the projects address crucial areas such as career exploration and development, high-quality learning experiences, and the development of written and oral communication skills. Additionally, the report details ways members of the campus community have engaged in AUBURNACHIEVE and the Bright Idea program, including available resources and an update on efforts to achieve outlined targets. Projects featured in the report rely on collaboration with student and faculty support units and individual college faculty and staff. All are tailored to the needs of students in specific degree programs and support the needs of students joining the Auburn Family from various backgrounds.
