Annual cybersecurity training options available

In conjunction with National Cybersecurity Awareness Month education activities, the Information Security Office is providing two options for faculty and staff to fulfill the annual training requirement: Security Training Modules or the Cybersecurity Champions program.

 

Last year’s participants in the daily phishing contest or “The Inside Man” series will default to the Champions program. The default for other faculty and staff will be a series of security awareness modules. Using your Auburn credentials, learn more about the Cybersecurity Champions and opt-in at https://aub.ie/cyberchamp. Additionally, everyone will be asked to complete a short survey about security. This survey is critical to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the security culture at Auburn.

Can you spot phishing attempts? Watch out and report the random phishing emails Mondays – Fridays in October.

 

Learn about security through the cybersecurity drama series “The Inside Man” from KnowBe4.  Grab some popcorn and watch season 2. Season 1 will be offered to new viewers.
