Rebecca Maxson
Rebecca Maxson, associate clinical professor in the Harrison College of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmacy Practice, was recently announced as one of the 2024 Fellows of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Along with her role as a faculty member, Maxson practices pharmacy at the Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) clinic, located inside UAB’s Kirklin Clinic. This clinic is a nurse-practitioner-led clinic where she sees patients with all levels of CKD and patients who developed acute kidney injury while hospitalized at UAB.
Fellow recognition is awarded to ACCP members who have demonstrated a sustained level of excellence in clinical pharmacy practice and/or research. The newly elected as ACCP Fellows will be recognized during a special ceremony at the 2024 ACCP Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, Oct. 12-15. See the full list of new Fellows on the ACCP website.
