The United Way logo features a rainbow of hope, a hand of support, and a person as a symbol of humanity.

University Human Resources is hosting a diaper drive as a part of the United Way of Lee County Day of Caring.

From now until Friday, the East Glenn Administrative Complex lobby will be a drop-off point for The Community Market’s diaper drive. The sizes most needed are 4, 5, 6, and 7. Diapers can be left in the lobby. The Community Market will collect them this Friday afternoon.

As an extension of the Food Bank of East Alabama (a local United Way agency), The Community Market distributes food and other essential items—including diapers—to area families in a welcoming, grocery store-like environment. However, they quickly run out of diapers whenever they have them to give away.
