The Auburn University Office of International Programs recognizes that faculty are essential in equipping students with global skills to not only respond to the future but to shape it. To support faculty in this mission, OIP will host the fifth International Perspectives on University Teaching and Learning Symposium June 23-25, 2025, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. The symposium fosters collaboration among a diverse group of global thinkers dedicated to creating and sustaining an internationalized campus culture in higher education.
Proposals for conversation starter essays, conference workshops and concurrent sessions are due Jan. 6, 2025, on the symposium website. Topics of interest include international collaborations in teaching and learning, global innovations in education, multicultural classrooms, creative uses of technology, internationalizing the curriculum and other subjects related to internationalization.
Early-bird registration is $725 until Feb. 28; after this date, registration is $750. The registration fee covers all workshops, the opening dinner and reception at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, all symposium sessions, and breakfast, lunch and snacks. Discounted hotel rates for symposium attendees are available here.
