New 'Leading People' program for supervisors will launch this spring

Building on the successful Aspire Auburn Leading Self program, a new Leading People program for supervisors is set to launch in the spring.

Supervisors who manage full-time, part-time, temporary and student-workers will soon have the opportunity to enroll in the Leading People Supervisor Leadership Development program. This six-week program, which will meet weekly for three hours, includes 12 in-person classes and one self-paced course through ElevatED. 

Leading People will provide supervisors with skills required to lead more effectively.  

“Human Resource Development extends our gratitude to the 35 employees from all three governance groups (Faculty, Staff, A&P) who volunteered their time over the past six weeks to pilot this program,” said Chris Richie, Director, Human Resource Development. “Their valuable feedback has enhanced the learning experience for future cohorts.”
