FLSA changes go into effect on Dec. 1

The Department of Labor announced on April 23 a significant change to the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime rules. As a result of the change, certain positions at Auburn University will transition from exempt to nonexempt status on Dec. 1. Impacted employees were notified last week.
