On Nov. 15, a federal judge in Texas ruled to vacate all updates to the FLSA overtime rule. Despite the ruling, Auburn will maintain an exempt salary threshold of $44,000 annually for our campus. Employees who make below that amount will continue to have their positions designated as FLSA-nonexempt (eligible for overtime premium).
Additional details about the ruling and what it means for Auburn have been shared with impacted employees and supervisors. If you have questions, please contact your HR Liaison or email univhr@auburn.edu.
