Based on the positive responses from Auburn’s Microsoft 365 Copilot Beta Program, the university is expanding access to this cutting-edge AI tool.

Auburn will grant 1,000 campus employees licenses fully funded until September 2025. Currently, over 200 faculty and staff are utilizing Copilot to:

  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Utilize real-time feedback and insights during meetings to draft documents and share them promptly.
  • Generate agendas, slide decks, and other essential documents quickly.

To receive a license, employees must complete the six required courses in the “Your Guide to Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot” learning path offered through ElevatED. Those who complete the learning path will receive: 

  • A fully funded Microsoft 365 Copilot license until September 2025 
  • Membership in the TIGER Tech Leaders community on Microsoft Teams 
  • Bi-weekly 30-minute check-ins with peers 
  • Opportunities to provide feedback and learn AI integration strategies
