Apply to be a University Writing Graduate Assistant

Graduate Assistants support University Writing through peer writing consulting and program assistant work. University Writing GAs receive a monthly stipend and full tuition remission and must be available to work 20 hours per week from May 2025-May 2026. Please read our Graduate Assistant position description for more information about the application process.

University Writing also offers several college-specific assistantships, where GAs focus on projects that support writers within their colleges. We are seeking applicants from the College of Liberal Arts, College of Human Sciences, College of Sciences and Mathematics and College of Forestry, Wildlife and the Environment.
