Registration open for University Writing's graduate student programs

University Writing invites all graduate students to participate in WriteFest and the Graduate Research and Writing Studio.

WriteFest is a series of four sessions offering structured writing time and education about habits that support productivity while completing longer projects. These sessions incorporate reflection and mindfulness to encourage well-being while writing. Topics include setting goals, writing regularly, writing mindfully and sustaining progress. Sessions will be held on Feb 5, Feb. 19, March 5 and March 19. Attendance can be in person or virtual. Complete the WriteFest registration form by Feb. 3 to register for the program. 

The Graduate Research and Writing Studio is a weekly writing retreat with a graduate writing consultant and research librarian available to answer questions as needed. The studio will meet every Tuesday beginning Jan. 28 from 1-4 p.m. in RBD Library. We also offer a Zoom option for those who cannot attend in person. Please complete the Graduate Research and Writing Studio survey to register.
