AU_WiFi will be retired this summer (exact date TBD), and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) encourages everyone on campus to switch to Eduroam now for seamless and secure wireless connectivity. Eduroam provides wireless connectivity, not just at Auburn but at participating institutions worldwide—check out all the locations where you can connect.

Why Switch to Eduroam?

  • Stay Connected Anywhere – Use Wi-Fi at thousands of universities, research institutions and conference venues worldwide.
  • No Reconnecting Needed – Once set up, you’ll stay connected when traveling for conferences, away athletic events or other academic activities.
  • Global Access – Eduroam is available in over 100 territories, making it the preferred network for academic institutions.

How to Connect

  1. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings and view the list of available networks.
  2. Select Eduroam (it will appear alongside AU_WiFi and other campus networks).
  3. Log in using your full Auburn email address (e.g., abc0000@auburn.edu) as your username and your Auburn password (the same one used for AU_WiFi).

OIT will share more details, including the official AU_WiFi retirement date, as soon as they are available. Thank you for making the switch!
