University employees nearing retirement are encouraged to attend two informative webinars that occur this month.

Employees who are eligible for retirement through the Teachers Retirement/Retirement Systems of Alabama, or within five years of eligibility, are invited to register for one or both webinars, which will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.   

  • Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) – Tuesday, April 8, 9-11 a.m.: Kit Gallup, Director of Field Services for RSA, will share information on retirement benefits and PEEHIP health insurance.   

  • Social Security – Tuesday, April 15, 9-10:30 a.m.: Kylle McKinney, Public Affairs Specialist with the Social Security Administration, will share information on Social Security and Medicare.   

Attendees are requested to join the webinars at least 10 minutes before the start time. Recordings will be available for those unable to attend. For additional information, please email benefit@auburn.edu.
