Phi Lambda Sigma 2025 initiates

Founded and organized at Auburn University in 1965, Phi Lambda Sigma’s Alpha chapter celebrated its 60th initiation ceremony with remarks from founder and 1965 alumnus Charlie Thomas, Phi Lambda Sigma National President Caroline Ko and Phi Lambda Sigma National President-Elect Hoai-An Truong.

Phi Lambda Sigma is a national organization also known as Pharmacy Leadership Society. Its mission is to promote the development of leadership qualities, especially among pharmacy students. By peer recognition, the society encourages participation in all pharmacy activities. Phi Lambda Sigma chapters are now at more than 135 schools and colleges of pharmacy across the country.

Elizabeth Covington, an associate clinical professor at Auburn's Harrison College of Pharmacy and an alumna of the Alpha chapter, addressed the new initiates. Chapter president Allie Blubaugh, a member of the Class of 2026, was recognized as Chapter Member of the Year and also administered the oath to each initiate.
