Summer construction to include Samford Avenue and Garden Drive road closures

Several construction projects will begin the week of May 12 as the campus transitions into the summer months.

“These construction projects are strategically scheduled during the summer semester to minimize disruption to students and campus,” said Wendy Peacock, Facilities Management director of Construction Management. “By leveraging the summer, we ensure the campus is fully prepared to welcome students back in the fall.”

The projects include the Garden Drive closure May 12 - 16 and the West Samford Avenue closure May 13 - July 7.
