Celena Tulloss, assistant vice president for enrollment management and executive director of financial aid and scholarships at Auburn University, has been honored with the 2025 Regional Leadership Award by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA).
Presented annually to just one financial aid professional in each of NASFAA’s six regions, the Regional Leadership Award recognizes individuals who exemplify integrity, innovation and a commitment to professional development. Tulloss was selected as the award recipient for the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) region, which includes colleges and universities across the Southeast.
“Celena’s leadership and dedication to students and the financial aid profession are exceptional,” said Joffery Gaymon, vice president for enrollment management. “Her work ensures that Auburn continues to provide students with the support and resources they need to achieve their educational goals.”
Tulloss oversees the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, leading efforts to widen access and improve service for Auburn students. She has also been actively involved in state, regional and national financial aid organizations throughout her career, helping shape policies and professional development opportunities for financial aid administrators nationwide.
The Regional Leadership Award was presented during NASFAA’s national conference, held this year in Anaheim, California, where more than 2,600 financial aid professionals from across the country gathered to recognize outstanding service and leadership in the field.
NASFAA’s recognition highlights Tulloss’s impact not only on Auburn students but also on the broader higher education community.
