From Draft to Print: Editing Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow | Common Book Fall Event | September 15th at 7 PM | Melton Student Center Ballroom | aub.ie/editingwithJennyJackson

Members of the campus community are invited to a discussion with renowned literary editor, author and publisher Jenny Jackson who will visit campus on Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Melton Student Center ballroom as part of the programming surrounding the 2025 Common Book.

Jackson, editor of the critically acclaimed novel, "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin, will headline the event.

Open to students, faculty, staff and the broader community, the free evening offers a behind-the-scenes look at the editorial journey of one of the most celebrated novels of recent years. Attendees will hear firsthand stories from Jackson’s career in publishing, gain insight into the creative collaboration behind the book and discuss the transformative power of storytelling.

Jackson’s visit kicks off a dynamic series of fall events inspired by the themes of "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" — exploring friendship, ambition and the art of video game design through conversations with influential voices.

This event marks the beginning of a broader initiative that highlights the Common Book program’s dedication to fostering creativity, connection and academic excellence through literature and dialogue.

The series will also feature a special campus visit from renowned voice actor and game master Matthew Mercer on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Advance registration is encouraged for both events. For more details and to register, visit the Common Book program website.
