Annual Promotion and Tenure Reception this Thursday

The Office of the Provost invites members of the campus community to celebrate the accomplishments of their colleagues at the annual faculty Promotion and Tenure Reception this Thursday, Sept. 18 from 3-5 p.m., in the third floor atrium of the Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex.

Remarks from President Christopher B. Roberts and Provost Vini Nathan will begin at 4 p.m. 

Recognizing those faculty members awarded promotion and/or tenure during the 2024-25 academic year, the reception offers the opportunity to view a curated display of books selected by each honoree to reflect their scholarly journey. The books will be added to the Ralph Brown Draughon Library’s permanent collection following the event.
