As part of Auburn University’s ElevatED learning platform, a course titled Veteran Benefits and Resources (PP111C) will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., at the East Glenn Administrative Complex.

Fewer than half of U.S. military veterans currently utilize the benefits they’ve earned through their service. This presentation is designed to inform veterans and their family members about the wide range of support available through both federal and state Veterans Affairs. Attendees will also be introduced to local resources that can assist with accessing these benefits.

The session will be led by B.J. DeBardeleben, a retired U.S. Marine and current Alabama Extension employee, whose outreach efforts in Lee County focus on educating and empowering veterans.

All university employees seeking information on veteran benefits are encouraged to attend.
