A person with curly hair, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, sits on a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean at sunset. The person has a black backpack and is gazing towards the horizon. On the left side of the image, there is a vertical white banner with the word 'FULBRIGHT' in blue capital letters and an oval-shaped globe logo beneath it.

Aferdita Krasniqi, the outreach and recruitment specialist for the Fulbright Program at the Institute of International Education, will be on campus to talk about the opportunities to teach, research and study abroad through the Fulbright Program.

"This information session will help demystify the application process and provide students with the best opportunity to craft successful applications,” said Benjamin Fagan, assistant director for National Prestigious Scholarships.

For the first time in university history, a record six alumni were awarded the Fulbright Scholarship in 2018 to serve as English Teaching Assistants in five countries around the world. More students have earned this opportunity since then, including this College of Education graduate who went to Peru last year.

Students from all majors and years are encouraged to attend a session on either Sept. 29 or 30, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., in the Azalea Room at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.
