As part of Auburn’s ongoing transition to Microsoft Teams Voice, the university’s new telephone platform, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) will replace the existing telephone service request form with the Telephone Service (Teams Voice) Request Form on Nov. 3.

The new form will be used for new hires, miscellaneous requests for those still on the legacy telephone system and as a catch-all during the transition period.

Teams Voice offers a modern, integrated communication experience that replaces the legacy phone system as it nears end of life. The new request form streamlines how departments request phone-related services and external calling capabilities.

New employees will typically start on Teams Voice, with some departments remaining on the legacy system until their migration occurs. A Teams Voice guide and additional resources are available online.
