OIP Seeks Faculty for Partnership Development Travel to Egypt

The Office of International Programs will convene a delegation of Auburn University faculty to travel to Egypt in December. The Government of Egypt has expressed a desire to link Auburn with one or more Egyptian universities to collaborate via academic programs, research and student and faculty mobility.

Selected faculty from a variety of disciplines will travel to Egypt in December (tentatively Dec. 12-22) to visit institutions from Luxor to Alexandria where the delegation will explore academic foci and strengths for potential partnerships.

While a formal call for applications will be announced in August, faculty interested in participating should e-mail Andrew Gillespie, assistant provost, (arg0014@auburn.edu) to aid in planning.
