Annual Promotion and Tenure Reception to be held Sept. 17

The Provost's Office will recognize faculty members who earned promotion or tenure during the 2025-26 academic year at the annual Promotion and Tenure Reception on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. CT in the third-floor atrium of the Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex (ACLC).

The annual reception celebrates the career achievements of this year’s 123 honorees and their contributions to Auburn through teaching, research and service. Remarks will begin at 3:45 p.m. CT.

As part of the celebration, each honoree selected a book that has held particular meaning in their academic, professional or personal journey. The selections will be displayed during the reception and later added to the Ralph Brown Draughon Library's permanent collection.

Members of the campus community are invited to attend and celebrate this year's honorees. While registration is not required, attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance. A full list of honorees is available on the Promotion and Tenure website.
