Miller Writing Center Staff pose with Aubie behind the Miller Writing Center Desk

The Miller Writing Center is open for the fall semester until Dec. 4, with free, one-on-one appointments available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. MWC peer consultants provide support for all writing and communication projects, including essays, lab reports, speeches, presentations, personal statements, résumés and more.

Auburn students can use Advise & Assist to schedule up to three MWC appointments per week. You can select the type of appointment that works best for you: in person, online via Zoom or written feedback, where you upload a document and receive written comments from a peer consultant. In-person appointments are held in the Miller Writing Center on the second floor of RBD Library.

During in-person and Zoom appointments, you will collaborate with a peer consultant to achieve your session goals. Written feedback appointments allow you to receive support without meeting live with a peer consultant. With online and asynchronous options, you can use our services no matter how busy you are.
