Microsoft is changing how some applications connect to Auburn's Microsoft 365 email and calendar services. As a result, some email and calendar applications may eventually stop syncing with your Auburn account if they are not updated or replaced.

Who may be affected?

You may be affected if you access Auburn Microsoft 365 through:

  • Apple Mail or Apple Calendar on macOS or iOS

  • Legacy Outlook for Mac

  • Other third-party email or calendar applications

What should I do?

If you use one of these applications, we recommend using the Microsoft 365 Outlook application. This can help avoid disruptions to your email or calendar.

Supported options include:

  • Outlook for Windows or Mac

  • Outlook Mobile for iOS and Android
