Two graduate students from the School of Kinesiology have been selected as finalists in Auburn University’s annual Three Minute Thesis competition.
Three Minute Thesis, or 3MT, challenges students to present their thesis or dissertation topic in three minutes, while effectively explaining the research in language that is appropriate for a non-specialist audience.
Matt Beth and Marina Meyer Vega will be representing the School of Kinesiology during the competition’s final round on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Melton Student Center ballroom. Beth will present “Disability following traumatic brain injury: Does cause correlate with severity?” and Meyer Vega will present “I feel, I see - I am steady! The zen in the science of understanding multisensory integration in neurological disorders.”
The winner of 3MT will receive $500, while the runner up and People’s Choice winner will each receive $250.
