Auburn University’s College of Education has named Molly McNulty as its next director of development, overseeing the college’s philanthropic and donor relations efforts.

“We are thrilled to have Molly at the helm of our college’s development and fundraising efforts,” said Jeffrey Fairbrother, dean and Wayne T. Smith Distinguished Professor of Auburn's College of Education. “Molly is an exceptional professional, and her many years of service to the college speak to her strong dedication to our college’s mission of building a better future for all. Molly has built great relationships with our alumni and community partners, and we look forward to the ways in which she will further those bonds into the future in support of our great college.”

McNulty is a 2000 graduate of Auburn University with more than 17 years of experience working in the college’s Office of Development, where she most recently served as its interim director for the past seven months.

Prior to that, McNulty worked in the office as a development officer, development associate and development coordinator.

“It has been an honor to serve the College of Education over the last 17 years and an even greater pleasure getting to know our alumni and donors who have so generously supported our students, faculty and programs,” McNulty said. “I’m looking forward to this next chapter — to build on the great direction we’ve had in the past — with an incredibly talented and dedicated team by my side.”

McNulty is a native of Auburn, and her husband, Shawn, also graduated from Auburn University. They have two children, Ben and Samantha.
