I serve as the Student Services Coordinator for College of Education within the Office of Academic and Faculty Affairs. I oversee all undergraduate recruitment, oversee on campus recruiting events, meet with prospective students and their families, organize group campus tours for the college, and travel to high schools and college fairs to aid with recruitment. I also serve as the college’s scholarship officer in charge of all college level undergraduate and graduate scholarships and awards. In addition, I am the program advisor in charge of our college’s Student Ambassador program.

I have been working on campus for the College of Education for just over two years.
3. What are some new initiatives you are working on now?
Organizing the sponsorship and logistics of the Future Teachers of Alabama 2025 Annual Conference on Feb 12th is an opportunity for our campus to host over 1400 guests and FTA advisors to campus for an annual conference of high school students across the state who have an interest in education. This is the first time Auburn has ever hosted the event.
4. What is a part of your job you are especially proud of?
I really appreciate the opportunity to serve as the Advisor for the College of Education Student Ambassador program. Being able to see student ambassadors grow and mature while organizing them to support the college is immensely rewarding. I was just able to take some of the Ambassador leadership to Houston, Texas to attend a conference specifically for Student Ambassadors and we are all very excited to supercharge the ambassador program as we go into our new building.
