Maddie Hagler

Maddie Hagler, a senior in the School of Kinesiology, has been selected as the College of Education’s graduation marshal for summer 2025 commencement ceremonies. Hagler, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is majoring in exercise, performance, and health optimization with a minor in business.

“Health and wellness are my biggest passions in life,” she said. “I have always known I wanted to study that area so I could pursue a career in that area to have an impact on others.”

Hagler has been an Auburn fan for as long as she can remember.

“I grew up attending Auburn games and always loved the community,” she said. “I always dreamed that Auburn would be my home for my college experience.”

She has made the most of her time on the Plains – she was in Alpha Chi Omega and served as social chair, was president of the College of Education’s Student Council, and was a student ambassador for the College of Education. All of those experiences have prepared her for life beyond her undergraduate degree.

“I feel exceptionally prepared for professional and academic life thanks to the College of Education’s hands-on approaches to learning,” she said. “The authentic education with real-world experience from the highest caliber faculty and staff is something I’m thankful for.”

After graduation, Hagler will continue her education in the School of Kinesiology as she works to obtain her master’s degree in exercise, performance and health optimization. She is interested in working in corporate wellness.
