Earlier this week, Auburn University’s Office of the Provost announced newly promoted and tenured faculty members. This achievement recognizes the dedication, instructional effectiveness and scholarly achievements of faculty whose work strengthens the university’s teaching, research and scholarship, and extension mission.
Eighteen faculty members in Auburn’s College of Education were newly promoted and tenured this year. The process requires careful preparation by each candidate and the support of colleagues and administrative staff throughout every stage of the review cycle. Applications are reviewed at the department and college levels before being considered by the University Promotion and Tenure Committee, which makes recommendations to the president.
“It is with great pleasure that I congratulate our faculty colleagues as they celebrate this significant professional achievement,” Provost Vini Nathan said. “The value of an Auburn education is multiplied through the efforts of our faculty, and the impact of their outstanding research and scholarship continues to expand and grow.”
