At Auburn football games, the iconic pre-game eagle flights aren't just a spectacle — they're a soaring tribute to the mission of the Auburn University Raptor Center (AURC).
"It's more than something cool that packs the stadium before game day," said AURC director Robyn Miller. "That visibility of the eagle carries so much on its wings of who we are and what we do.”
With roots stretching back five decades, the center’s unique partnership with Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine blends expert raptor rehabilitation, education and conservation with hands-on student training, creating a legacy that’s as inspiring as it is impactful.
