Auburn Campus Phi Lambda Sigma Initiates
The Harrison College of Pharmacy chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma initiated 20 new members during a ceremony held on April 2 in a ceremony in Auburn and Mobile.
Founded and organized at Auburn University in 1965, Phi Lambda Sigma is a national organization also known as Pharmacy Leadership Society. The initiation ceremony included remarks from founder Charlie Thomas ’65.
Its mission is to promote the development of leadership qualities, especially among pharmacy students. By peer recognition, the Society encourages participation in all pharmacy activities. Phi Lambda Sigma chapters are now at more than 135 schools and colleges of pharmacy across the country.
Dr. Marilyn Bulloch, an associate clinical professor at HCOP, gave the keynote address to the new initiates. Chapter president Lauren Glass, a member of the Class of 2027, administered the oath to each initiate.
