Multidisciplinary, experiential learning initiative featured on Alabama Public TV

FoodU at Auburn University

Auburn’s FoodU initiative is a multidisciplinary, collaborative program that immerses students in the vast campus food system. Philanthropy is the fuel behind the initiative that includes academics, research and outreach from the College of Agriculture’s Department of Horticulture, the College of Human Sciences’ Culinary Science program and Hunger Solutions Institute, Campus Dining, the Campus Kitchen and more.

Through various FoodU efforts, faculty, students and community partners work together to impact Auburn’s campus, local and regional communities, our state and nation. The initiative has garnered national attention and was recently featured during an episode of Alabama Public Television’s Spotlight on Agriculture series.
