Celebrating the important role of faculty in fulfilling Auburn University’s mission, the Office of the Provost is pleased to announce Auburn’s newly promoted and tenured faculty members. This significant professional milestone recognizes the dedication, instructional effectiveness and scholarly achievements of faculty whose work strengthens the university’s teaching, research and scholarship, and extension mission.
“It is with great pleasure that I congratulate our faculty colleagues as they celebrate this significant professional achievement,” Provost Vini Nathan said. “The value of an Auburn education is multiplied through the efforts of our faculty, and the impact of their outstanding research and scholarship, continues to expand and grow.”
A strong and flourishing faculty remains central to Auburn’s continued success, advancing discovery, innovation and student learning across disciplines. Promotion and tenure represent the culmination of a rigorous review process that reflects years of academic achievement and service. Candidates are evaluated at both the departmental and college levels before recommendations are reviewed by the university’s Promotion and Tenure Committee and forwarded to the President for final approval.
To celebrate these accomplishments, the Office of the Provost will host a reception honoring the newly promoted and tenured faculty on September 17 from 3–5 p.m. CST in the Academic Classroom and Laboratory Complex. Members of the campus community are invited to attend and recognize the achievements of these distinguished colleagues.
